Finnegan’s 200 mph Caddy Gets A New Chassis And Sits On Its Wheels For The First Time – Pure Sexy

If you haven’t been following along with Finnegan’s latest crazy fun project, then welcome to the psych ward, cause in here an 8 second, 200 mph, street driven 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is the sanest thing ever. WTF?! LOL If you missed the the previous videos, click the link down below to check out what you’ve missed. What you’ll see in this one is the start of a pretty cool chassis going underneath the Caddy, and a lot of measuring and such to make sure the wheel and tire combo will fit. There is no doubt that this is going to be one bad mother when it is done, but seeing it on the ground for the first time makes me way to excited to stand up in front of the class to do math problems on the board. Man oh man this one is a sexy beast.

Here is what Finnegan says in the video description. Watch and enjoy.

In this installment of the twin-turbo, 8 second Cadillac build, we unbox a new set of Weld Racing Alpha Pro double beadloc wheels for the back end of the car and a pair of V-Series front wheels, too. You’ll also get a look at the MRC Fabrication mandrel-bent chassis, which will be the backbone of this high-speed project. Yes, we cut up a perfectly good, rust-free 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille but it will be well worth it when we cruise the street with our friends in this beast, then blast down the quarter mile, and finally go 200 mph in a car that was never intended to be anything more than a luxury liner.

top of the line car with the bottom of the ocean engine. does anybody have any brains that can build other than 7-11 engines. sad world when you wear and do the same things everyday. like the movie groundhog day

i build my own and make my own engine parts/details. i also think for myself, not some catalog. AND i don’t do chevy or ford or dodge.
btw, can you think for yourself ???? inquiring minds want to know….

twenty years ago I would be impressed, now its just writing checks. BTW didn’t Road and Track or Car and Driver have a 200 mph Cadillac article in the eighties?

You guys are harsh. These days it’s hard to find something that hasn’t already been done. No matter what you do, it takes checks. I think Finny proved he walks the talk a long time ago.
