When our buddy James Amos sent the link to this video from the first day of Testing for the Southern Flyer Gasser, we were immediately hooked. The video is from inside the car, and we’ve started it just after the first run because the camera angle is better. There are multiple passes, and you can see the driver’s feet working the throttle and clutch, all the gear grabbing, the drivers crazy tongue, and all. Donovan Stott, yeah that Stott, put this one up and we love him for it. These guys are the real deal and put on one hell of a show with some of the coolest gassers in the world. They do it ’60s correct at the Southeast Gassers Association, which is where you can see the Southern Flyer Ford Falcon making passes.
Check out the video. You’ll dig it. Watch the progression, as the driver gets more comfortable and the throttle pedal moves less and less on each shift. It’s magic and we love it.
