We hate seeing guys crash, regardless of where it’s at. But when this clean 2nd Gen Camaro got out of shape at this weekend’s Street Car Super Nationals in Las Vegas, we thought it was going to be fine. The driver didn’t do anything crazy. He lifted and slowly steered it toward the middle of his lane. Then it went horribly wrong. Hitting the wall almost perfectly straight on is the worst possible angle and both Brian and I were aghast at how hard it hit and then came apart. Not to mention the spin that had it up on two wheels! Luckily the cage and safety equipment did it’s job and the driver got out of the car on his own just seconds after it came to a stop. The one bit of humor we were able to gather from this was actually pointed out to us by a safety crew member who commented on the chute coming out of the car just after it stops. It’s as if the car crapped itself, not just the driver.

Watch this Camaro spin and destroy the front end in one hit. It’s close to flipping over too which is a scary thing to have happen. We know people that know the driver, in fact our friend/neighbor sold the driver the engine that was in the car this particular weekend.
