The Street Car Super Nationals have become a race like none other, and the best of the best are coming to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Nov. 19-22 for the JEGS.com Street Car Super Nationals Presented by Chris Alston’s Chassisworks. It is the grandaddy of Doorslammer races, and as usual BangShift.com will be LIVE starting on Thursday with all the action. Classes and performances you literally will not see anywhere else but from the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We’ll be starting our broadcast on Thursday right around mid-day with qualifying and then we’ll roll into the TurboSmart/BangShift Pro Mod Shootout! That’s right folks, we’re co-sponsoring the ultimate showdown along with our friends at TurboSmart and we couldn’t be happier to get this opportunity. We’ll continue our LIVE, and FREE, Broadcast from there on out until all the action is done Sunday night. As usual, we never miss a round and we’ll be there for the full pull!

Who else is on the guest list besides us? Newly-crowned two-time NHRA Pro Mod champion Troy Coughlin, who has also won the SCSN twice; the quickest man on radials, “3-second” Jason Michalak; the world’s fastest door car pilot, Paul Mouhayet; Larry Larson and the World’s Quickest and Fastest street-driven truck, Matt Frost and the Rocky Mountain Race Week Boys, and the list goes on and on.

As has become Street Car Super Nationals tradition, there are classes here that will really turn your crank and match-ups that you just might not see anywhere else, including both Outlaw and Legal Pro Mods, Mickey Thompson 275, Limited 235, Outlaw 8.5, radial VS 10.5 slick, and a ton more.

The weather is shaping up to be insane with HIGHS touching the top of the 50 degree range and the barometer is projected to be over 30″. The big questions for this year’s TurboSmart/BangShift Pro Mod Shootout? Will we see a 280mph door slammer? Will we see someone run in the 5.30s? And that is just in outlaw pro mod!

We expect amazing performances in the radial and small tire categories at this race as well, as some of the fastest Drag Radial racers in the country are coming to play. With not one, but TWO Radial vs 10.5 classes to watch it will be interesting to see how many make a run at the full 1320 to see who can become the first 5-second Drag Radial in the country! Barriers will be broken as record books are re-written on a near yearly basis during this race.

We have also seen the other side of big speed and that is big carnage. At least once a year we see a “big one” and that makes some sense because there is nothing being left on the table by ANY of these racers in any of the classes. Bring the house or don’t bother showing up in Vegas is pretty much the answer.
