My grandpa had a saying. “Crap will do for brains if you’re lucky!” And sometimes that goes a long way in the car world. We’re not saying it’s the case in the particular scenario, but it most certainly is representative. After all, this four door Chevelle has got a big block, hard shifting trans, and some attitude already. Then the owner bolted on twin Chinese turbos, plumbed it all up, gave it NO TUNING ADJUSTMENTS, and strapped it to the dyno over at the Sloppy Mechanics dyno day. It made almost 600 at the tires on just 5lbs of boost thankfully so the tune didn’t become as big an issue as it could have.
Had he went for 10 and kept all the timing in it on pump gas, it could have been “entertaining”.
600 at the tires is nothing to sneeze at. Neither is the burnout afterwards. Check it out.
It helps if you remove the fortunes before installing those turbochargers.

I’ve ran Chinese turbos, and broke a few, they are OK…. Won’t take a lot of abuse but for low boost applications they’ll work just fine… I don’t run them anymore because My chit as got to expensive to replace LOL
