Imports versus domestics at the same strip…sounds like a recipe for a ton of trash talking and grudge racing. We might be a bit evil for thinking this way, but we’d be the guys over in the corner with wicked smiles on our faces, waiting for the moment the mouths stop running and the engines fire off. Here we have two very stout heavyweights going to battle at the line…on one hand, you have a Toyota Supra that is packing the infamous 2Jz inline-six, itself being force-fed air from a single turbo that is big enough to suck in small birds. On the other hand, there is the “Red Dragon”, a 1994 Chevy truck packing a twin-turbo LS motor and enough grunt to tow the Queen Mary 2 from the shore. The Chevy has a 100hp edge on horsepower, but the Supra’s 1500 horses are right there and ready to catch the truck at a weak moment. Hold your breath…and anything that could be ingested by the turbos…and watch this one go down!
So it only takes 100 more horses for a brick to destroy a supra? Someone is lying.
Supra should used 2 smaller turbos to spool up quicker.
Hey ! I have a red 94 chevy too ! Ok , with a 305 tbi…well.
no, the best heavy metal metal album is still La Bite du Diable by Antekhrist 96 https://demonecromancy.wordpress.com/2015/12/14/greatest-albums-youve-never-heard-2-la-bite-du-diable/
