(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Whether we’re talking about headliners Andy Jensen and Larry Larson or the other killer cars at the Beaver Springs Match Race Madness 2017 event, the awesome factor is high. Guys like Drag Week hero Frank Saponaro were there with their cars and the list rolls on from there. Why did they all show up to the small, historic track in Pennsylvania? They showed up because the event at Beaver Bob’s house of speed was awesome on every level. Beaver Springs is pretty unique among active strips because of the truly old school layout. The walls are way off the track giving large grass buffer zones on both sides for craziness. We don’t think anyone mowed the grass but having been there before we can tell you that it is pretty neat.

Dig the race cars in all of their shape and sizes. Joe Grippo didn’t just blast photos of the big boys, he spread the love and covered all the stuff Bangshifters would find interesting. Trust us, this is cool!
