Big Barge Movin’: This Old Chevy Can Romp Hard! Wait Until You See The In-Car Footage!

I love watching grudge racers at work. It’s like a poker game in the middle of the bar you probably should’ve stayed out of: if everything goes according to plan, someone walks out with a big pot of cash, and if even one little thing is upset between now and then, things will get loud and angry in a moment’s notice. And above all else, the cards are held very, very close to the chest. To the player, it’s all about what you’ve got, and to the others, what you don’t have. Take this big old Chevy. It looks like it was rustled out of it’s slumber and put onto the track…nothing too shocking about that. A turbocharged LSX runs under the hood…again, nothing that surprising. Even the nitrous bottle isn’t that big of a stretch. But watch the in-car footage. Watch this dude reach for the shifter with a shaking hand to grab second gear in the middle of bashing the rev limiter half to death. This Chevy is meant for business…and we are guessing at this point, but this might be a sorting run for the car. And we bet that the car is officially “sorted” and is ready for business. Shame the clocks aren’t on…

Language Warning: Over-the-top celebration moment. Mind the young ears.

l guess l’m getting old but it’s just not as exciting for me when l hear/see that a car has an LS or whatever in it. If that thing had a BBC and looked factory with hidden n2o or something it would be more interesting to me – On a side note thanks for supporting Ls stuff guys – my BBC stuff is getting cheaper!!!

I don’t consider anything the exhaust through the hood (or fender) a sleeper. Unless you are just oblivious, the hater pipe should be a pretty big tell.

I can see not having a roll bar or cage to keep the sleeper vibe, but running without seatbelts at the track is pretty moronic.
