We are about a month away from starting some test and tune days at Beech Bend with the Angry Grandpa Chrysler and honestly, the weather can’t clear up soon enough for us to start getting the car ready for some runs. In the Southern Hemisphere they have no waiting period right now…if the track is open, bring your car out and have a rip down the strip where the cops can’t do much except sit and watch you put in some work on improving your reaction time off of the line. None of us are the kind to shut down a chance to watch some solid heads-up competition, especially if it’s test and tune stuff that will pit just about anything against anything. Want to see the tubbed Mustang that’s known to play in Sportsman classes square off against a late-model machine that has only been off of the lot a couple of weeks at the most go heads-up? You’ll see it! It’s why we dig local-level racing…anyone is encouraged to come out and give it a shot!
