Carl Scott has had a few close calls lately, but we’re glad to announce that after losing it behind the wheel of his little beast Minor Insanity, and sliding it into the wall, it flipped over a few times destroying the car but leaving Carl okay. We hate to see this happen, but we’re glad that Carl was able to walk away. I’m not sure the Minor Insanity will race again, it seems awfully bent, but know Carl Scott like we do we can imagine he’ll have another one, or something similar, soon.
Below is the video. It ain’t pretty.
Helluva cross wind at Great Bend yesterday.
I realize this no prep stuff is the latest craze but dang at the amount of money in torn up cars. It\’s not a matter of if you crash it\’s a matter of how bad. I just don\’t get it
It\’s because it\’s a true test of driver skill. It\’s more like old school racing on a street. Anybody can go fast on a prepped tracked that glues your car down. It because a test of drivers during no prep. They know the risk and they accept it everytime they get behind the wheel
Yup any warm body can just point their car down the track and everything is easy right? How many 6 second passes have you made? 7? 9? 15+?
Minor Insanity = major wreckage.
As a plus, the crash improved the patina.
That car will be singing “Hello, Dolly” for months at the fix-it shop.
