Check Out Our Video Profile On The BBF Powered Nitemare II Ice Drag Mustang

(Video by Jacob Marshall) – The Nitemare II Ice Drag Mustang is fielded by Perry Redeker and it is one of the if not the single meanest ice drag racing door slammer ever built. Our man Jacob Marshall was up at the Merrill Ice Drags a little while back and he made this cool video profile of the car. There’s not a lot of fancy pants stuff happening here because we love stuff like this raw. The sound of the engine, the look of the car attacking the track, it is a cool tribute to this truly mean thing.

The engine is a big block Ford that uses Trick Flow Specialties A460 heads, a Trick Flow Specialties tunnel ram intake, a pair of Holley Dominator carbs, and a fogger nitrous setup. We have shown this thing kicking ass, pulling finish line wheelies, and generally making mayhem on the ice before but this is the first time we have showed you some good old fashions on car video of what it is like to take an immensely powerful car down a frozen eighth mile. By the looks of it, Perry usually has his hands full.

What is it running for elapsed time? Likely somewhere in the low 6 second zone of high fives at more than 120 mph. One of the coolest things you will see is the angles that are facing forward and rear because it illustrates how much the car is moving around and all as it is going down the track. The car has previously trapped well above 120mph and we’re guessing that the hunt for more speed and ET will continue this summer. Yes folks, he ONLY races this car on the ice. How radical will it be for the 2017 Merrill Ice Drag Racing season? Only time will tell but until then, we have this video!

I was there. First Ice Drags I watched in my life.
Respect for these guys. Felt like my toes froze off after 2 hours.
But I sure will go again next year…

    and pick up my toes.
