Davids Versus Goliath: Mighty Car Mods Go Against A V8 Supercar In Their Project Vehicles!

Davids Versus Goliath: Mighty Car Mods Go Against A V8 Supercar In Their Project Vehicles!

You probably didn’t know that Marty and Moog, the duo behind Mighty Car Mods, have been at their game for about ten years now. They’ve done lots of projects, from building a street-sweeper Subaru wagon to cramming a Honda B-motor into an old-school Mini, to the LS-swapped Nissan they built as a tribute to Mad Max. A lot of their cars are Asian and funky but they’re gearheads in the end and they can appreciate a bit of a challenge. Whoever thought of this challenge, though, must’ve been snickering just a little bit when phone calls were being made. The driver of the SuperCheap Auto-sponsored Ford Falcon FG X is Chaz Mostert…he’s twenty-six, daily drives a Ford Mustang, and is no doubt the force to be reckoned with. He’s also the sucker who is hot-lapping the same car over and over. The MCM guys bring out their rides, ranging from a Daihatsu Mira (a Kei car with four-wheel drive and a turbocharger) to a cleanup hitter in case of abject failure, the Barra-swapped Toyota Cresta sedan that is known to be good for a ten-second quarter-mile. The question isn’t if they guys get spanked…the Falcon’s a 600 horsepower race car, c’mon now…but just how badly they get spanked. Some of these matches are closer than they should be!

  1. chevy hatin' mad geordie

I got bored watching idiots driving piles of junk!

But one thought – hello Ford UK. Please send over all the Falcon FG Xs you can as all we have are shitty front wheel drive cars with not a V8 in sight. Also can those Aussies not dump their metric shit and use proper measurements like right thinking people everywhere.
