(By Tom Lohnes) – Dodge has been making some absolutely nuts vehicles for the past half a decade. With superchargers and power numbers north of 700 available on all three Dodge models right now, it is a safe bet that this power craze will last well into this new era of electric vehicles. Well, if your gas Dodge is too slow for you, they have a new thing coming out to help you with that. Meet the Dodge power brokers program.
The newest installment to Dodge’s 2-year “never lift” program, Power Brokers ensures your tuned Dodge is reliable. WIth kits available for SRT Hellcat, Hellcat Redeye, Super Stock, and Demon models, Power Brokers has quite a few power options, and the best part is that it doesn’t void your warranty.
Let’s say you aren’t satisfied with your 707 horsepower hellcat. Well, instead of trading it for a higher model, you can now drive to your local Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealership and pay a few thousand dollars to boost your car to 900 or 1,000 horsepower if you wish. The dealership will completely take care of all the modifications, and if it breaks, you can bring your high-power hellcat back to the dealer and they will fix it for free. There are a few caveats though, as the program is strictly for engine modifications. You better cover tires before you go in, or the ride home might be sketchy.
So, if you have a hellcat, a few grand, and a dream, check out Power Brokers. Dealers should start promoting the program in the next few months, so you definitely have time to save for that power boost.
These are the good old days.
And another very good reason to say Mopar or No Car.
For 99% of the people out there a 1000 hp is just plain stupid.
