(Photos by Joe Grippo) – It was a great weekend of showing, racing, and hanging out at Maple Grove Raceway for the Mega Mopar Action weekend. From the SS/AH cars that blistered the strip and harked back to the glory days of the sport to the cars that filled the copious show areas at the track, this was a truly cool event. The Mega Mopar Action series is just that, a traveling event series that hits strips in literally every other corner of the country. While we are always championing the “all makes and models” style of events that are wide open for everyone, there’s certainly something to be said about being able to circle the wagons and spend time with people who share the exact same interests in cars as the rest of the people at the event.
Grippo and his lovely wife had a blast and we’re sure that they will be back again next year as his wife’s car is freaking awesome (and you can see it below).
