otos by Brad Klaassen) – Yesterday we brought you the first of a couple galleries we have from the recent running of the Pro Street Racing Association event at Thunder Valley Raceway Park in Oklahoma. This race brought out some of the coolest doorslammers in the region and it included everything from big tire pro modified machines all the way to steel bodied, small tire muscle car action. There was literally something for everyone and Brad Klasseen, our ace man on the scene captured the action through his camera lens.
Whether you like them blown and injected, turbocharged, carb-equipped, or sucking nitrous through a hose, there’s a class for for in the PSRA. The organization runs a bunch of events throughout the year so you can become part of the fun and contend for a championship in one of the several classes that they offer. Organizations like the PSRA are important for drag racing because they allow guys with cars that don’t fit in a traditional bracket program (or guys that don’t want to race in a traditional bracket program) to compete the way and at the level they want to. The more options that racers have the better it is for local tracks and the sport in general. More options means more participants which means better shows, more fans and the the whole works.
This is another great gallery and we’re jealous of Brad’s day at the strip, it sure looked like he had a blast!
