LS Swap parts are super easy to find nowadays, but if you are building a car or truck that makes BIG power, then a traditional set of motor mounts isn’t really the ideal situation. Instead, high-horsepower combos need to have a motor plate and mid-plate combo. They offer many advantages, but even though you can get them from many suppliers, they are not all created equal. Tim McAmis has put together some trick features in their LS motor plate and mid-plate and he’ll show you those features in the video below.
Video Description:
The Chevy LS platform has been increasingly adopted by the drag racing community year after year. Now it is not uncommon to see the combination used in fast door slammers and tube chassis vehicles.
With most LS engine mounting solutions created around street and hot-rodding vehicles, TMPP has seen a need to adapt some of it’s high horsepower specific designs for the LS platform.
In this video, Tim shows some of the engine mounting solutions engineered specifically for high horsepower LS based engine combinations.
