(Photos by Jose Ferrer) – So we have made it to the end of the photo extravaganza that allowed us to relive Tuesday at Hot Rod Drag Week 2016. Rick Johnson at Gear Vendors deserves tons of credit for his longtime and stalwart support of the event. Nearly 80 cars were using Gear Vendors units on this year’s trip including some of the heaviest hitters in the whole contest. The units have proven there ability to make the cars better on the street and even quicker on the track!
In these photos you’ll see mostly drag strip action and it will range from the diesel coolness of the Chevy pickup in the first photos to the slick looks of some of the more intense cars we saw race all week. Do we have a favorite? Tough to say. Our favorite is any car and driver combo with the guts and skills to make it to the end. That’s our favorite thing because it really does take both to make a week with your stuff set on kill and your own handiwork being the thing you are relying on to get you home.
Drag Week 2017 will be awesome. How do we know? Because the since 2005, they’ve all been awesome!
