Sleepers come in all shapes and sizes. From tricky mini-vans to tiny pocket rockets and muscle cars that appear to have seen better days, there’s no wrong way to sleeper in our book. That being said, there is the stuff that we gravitate to and this Chevelle is one of those cars that we just love everything about. From the hammered paint to the taxi-cab style looks, the dents, the rust, and peeling interior, the ProCharger, the bench seats, and the column shift are the things that really make us smile.
The seller’s ad is good and it lines out the whole combination which is simple but overall has a high level of effectiveness. Outside of the “good stuff” like the blower, the Global West control arms, the SRP forged pistons, the COMP Cams valve train and runninng gear there’s some factory parts like Ws6 sway bars, stock style wheels, and factory disk brakes on the nose out front.
The truly awesome part is the fact that the seller is looking for $8900 bucks for the car. That’s the right money in our opinion!
Cool car, priced right. Dammit, I want it. Stop with these cheap sleepers on the east coast. I’m losing sleep over this stuff. Man, I need to ditch the wife and start buying toys.
I worked in West Milford for 20 yrs before moving down to NC. I like the setup but get rid of the ralleys and put steelies with hubcaps on them.
Just can’t do the 4-door unless it’s a real land-yacht.
