(Photos by Cole Reynolds) Seeing a Fox body Mustang on the starting line of a drag strip sporting a 275 Drag Radial, 28-10.50 slick, or just about any other tire on earth isn’t weird. Either are thousands of other common combinations. But when you come to LSFest West you never know what you are going to see driving down the track because all that matters is that it is LS powered. At this year’s LSFest West, and every LSFest even prior, you’ll see the norm, you’ll see the not so normal, and then you’ll see two kinds of weird. Weird like the awesome Chevette above, which makes a 275 Drag Radial look like a big tire, and then Pro Touring machines on 18 inch ultra low profile road race style street tires. Some of these make real steam which means that after they walk them out of the hole they can haul some ass. Here is a gallery of stuff we saw making hits at LSFest West. Enjoy.
