Furious Ford: Check Out This Awesome ProCharged FORD Powered 1967 Mustang On The Dyno

For as many times as we have run into cool Mustang videos on the dyno and then been disappointed by seeing another engine brand in the front of it, it is always good to see some legit Ford powered Ford goodness. In this case we’re talking about the 1967 Mustang coupe you see before you which packs a 370ci Ford small block and a ProCharger F1X to make the boost and the big noise. There’s literally nothing that sounds like a ProCharged car and this thing bellows like the hounds of hell when it gets hammered on the dyno.

The original plan for the car was X275 action and you can see the radial tires tightly tucked into the wheel wells but the new direction for the machine will be grudge action. You’ll hear the driver talk about how crazy X275 has gotten and how he’s gone to more of the no-prep and grudge world where he’s got more of a fighting chance in this awesome car. That’s a smart guy right there. Rather than race himself broke he’s finding the spot where he can be competitive.

The sound on the dyno pulls is freaking fantastic and this little engine sounds absolutely brutal when the engine is on song and turning the rollers. He’s got a pretty good tuner as well. Some guy named Mike Murillo. Perhaps you have heard of him? Yeah, we figured.
