(Photos by Bryan Mactaggart) – As we began showing you yesterday, it is Holley LS Fest 2015 weekend here in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The event has grown from very humble beginnings to the monster that it is now with more than 500 vehicles pre-registered and tons more that will just materialize at the gate. What strikes such a chord with people? Basically, the affinity for one of the great power making mills every offered by an American car company. The LS family of engines has changed the face of hot rodding over the last 15 years. Whether you love them or hate them this is a fact that cannot be denied.
In this collection of photos you will see the stuff that caught Mactaggart’s eye as he was cruising the pits and checking out the car show area as well as the autocross. Yes, we got blasted in the face with some heavy rain to end the afternoon early but it was a really fun day before it came to a grinding halt. Lots of fast stuff, some sleepers, some drivers learning the ropes of the drags and autocross, and row of manufacturer displays that would make most events green with envy.
