That’s right, folks, Hot Rod Magazine is announcing their first Drag Weekend, a shortened version of the vaunted Drag Week that will be taking place in the Southwest. With many racers put off by Drag Week’s Midwest track locations, this should bring in racers who wouldn’t have traveled out of their garages and onto the tracks.
Drag Weekend is scheduled for October 29-31, and will hit the following tracks:
- Southwestern International Raceway in Tucson, Arizona
- Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Phoenix, Arizona
- Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California
There was a major call for West Coast locations, and the powers that be have heard you. Time to make an appearance and show what you can do!
Hmmm…. Don’t know if I’ll have enough cash or car left after Drag Week.
