Of all the things I have done or I will ever do in the world of “car stuff” none of it will match the sheer amazement, weirdness, and muscle car “shock and awe” I experienced at Bruce Cliche’s muscle car junkyard/collection in Vermont five years ago. At that point, I went to the place with a camera guy to shoot a bunch of video for what was then known as CarJunkieTV.com. The bad news was that the video never made the air because the site went boobs up and that was that. It was a shame because this place is nearly beyond compare among locations in the eastern United States. At the time it was for sale for $1-million bucks and apparently there were no takers because the ads for cars and parts are still rolling.
It is literally impossible to put the size, scope, and quantities of stuff at this place in proper perspective, this ad is comically small. Yes, there are lots of Chrysler cars there but there are lots of EVERY car there. The majority of the iron is from the 1960s and 1970s with some newer stuff but that’s a small percentage. Outside of the full cars there are parts galore. The dude has a room with like 1,000 driveshafts in it, piles of engines, PILES or transmissions, literal school buses full of muncie four speeds, and on and on and on.
Check out the photos and hit the link to see more. We think it is about time to schedule another visit with Bruce. What do you think?

The single most chilling experience of my life was standing in that guy’s “living room,” amid a pile of old pizza boxes, trash and muscle car parts, catching a glimpse of a stack of vile trucker porn VHS tapes next to a 21-inch RCA TV with a beat up easy chair pulled up in front of it.
Bruce isn’t very happy with Craig and the defamation. You are not a professional person.
Bruce is selling everything by the way check out the website.

http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2014/07/22/connecticut-changes-laws-to-allow-for-pick-and-pull-junkyards/?refer=musweekly Tell me why an article about junkyards in Connecticut would need pictures from Bruces’ place
You know, the 68-70 B Body fanboy in me wants to go up there and buy all of those Coronets and even that 70 Satellite, but it screams of being an expensive proposition.
I don’t have a truck or trailer big enough to move the whole affair, and I don’t really have any money to speak of right now, so I don’t even feel right contacting him about parts.
Plus, how do you even determine what he has?
I’d love to go up there and buy this or that, but from the pictures, I’m not sure where I’d begin.
Anybody have any insight into this place?
Its really too bad the film never aired.
I believe the whole property is for sale, so say the rumors that have been swirling around this area for years. He also had a large stock pile of chunky German Shepherds running around
“Muscle Car Junkyard?” Where are the muscle cars? All I see is a bunch of rusted chrysler cars that are maybe . . . maybe good for some sheetmetal, if they aren’t too far gone, that could be used to restore a real muscle car like a Super Bee or Coronet R/T of which neither is there.
friend on mine went there. guy has every car priced as if it was restored. guy is a waste of a heart and two eyes.
If its anything like our local guy that hoarded vintage stuff….90% of it is junk and there isnt much of anything left.
