There will be another update video to show tomorrow, but this one here was shot and posted with just over a week left before Alex and Dennis Taylor are expected to haul this beast to Great Bend Kansas for the start of Rocky Mountain Race Week 2021. It’s a huge project, was scheduled to happen in a very short period of time, and is still happening with the same level of fit and finish and completion that the Taylor family is known for. What that means is that they aren’t half-assing this sucker together just because there is a time crunch. I’ve built complete cars in weeks, days, and hours, and can tell you that there are times when it feels like you are hauling ass and other times when it feels like you can’t get a darn thing done. I know they are feeling the pressure but still trying to stay positive and productive at this point and because we’ve been cross country with the Taylors several times, we know they have got the art of thrashing down pat.
Check out this video and we’ll have the latest update coming to you tomorrow as well and then we’re into crunch time. It looks like we might be heading their way a little early on our trip to Rocky Mountain Race Week to lend a hand at the last minute, so we’ll keep you posted as we make things happen!
In this video Dennis is building some seriously trick pieces, as always, including this insane Methanol tank that Alex helped dream up.
