The little green Acura Integra that is best suited for hurting feelings at roll racing events is back, better than ever. The “Gringotegra” is one of a select few front-wheel-drive Honda products that we simply cannot talk smack about, because owner Myles Kerr has this little beast tuned to within an inch of it’s life, turbocharged, stripped down and set up to prime fighting conditions. That means that over the winter, the Integra finally got the roll cage it desperately needed and got a new engine build. The car is down on wheel horsepower compared to the combination it was running at the end of last year, but it’s up on PSI from the turbocharger and it’s got room to grow.
“Room to grow”? When this thing can eat an Alpha GT-R? This is the ultimate troll car…it’s known for spanking supercars at roll races and putting out highly surprising trap speeds at half-mile and mile events. How much more is in the little boosted four-banger before parts start to vacate the block? We don’t know and we bet Myles doesn’t know either. But we bet he will find out…and maybe sooner than later, because we’ve already seen where he’s calling someone out to meet him at the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack in Colorado Springs, Colorado, someone who he expected to race at TX2K17. Nothing quite like a thrown challenge to make things a little interesting, don’t you think?
