(Photos courtesy of TurboStart Batteries) – We’ve got to thank our pal Denver Nageotte from TurboStart batteries as it was he who shipped over these photos from the now famed Lights Out 7 event that took place at South Georgia Motorsports Park last month in Valdosta, Georgia. The race was attended by the heaviest hitters in the small tire world and it was also attended by far more spectators than South Georgia Motorsports Park had ever seen for an event in its history. This was a crazy happening and the culmination of growth over several years work by Donald Long and his small band of merrymen that put on the races. The place was so full, people were standing on out buildings and anywhere they could possibly go to see the action. A true drag race happening of epic proportions.
Denver over at TurboStart asked if we would like to share these photos and we jumped on the chance. It was great of him to offer and you know the rest of the story. The race was mental, the performances were beyond compare, and the action did not let up for days on end. We’ll be back with a couple of galleries and this is the first.
