Night Of Thunder! Come Hang Out With Us At Indy This Weekend For Pro Mods, Top Fuel, Grudge Racing, and More!

For the first time ever, Lucas Oil Raceway (purists will always call it Indianapolis Raceway Park) is holding a pre-Indy 500 match race called the Night of Thunder. They were slumming for an announcer so yours truly will be there calling the action and this is going to be a good old fashioned throw down in the classic match race style. There’s a pile of pro mods coming, there will be grudge racing between Eddie Krawiec in his x275 car and Ritchie Crampton in his killer Drag Week wagon, Lex Joon will be there with his top fuel car, jet cars, and there’s sportsman action happening all day. The tickets are $20 and KIDS 12 AND UNDER ARE FREE!

There is going to be a killer bracket race as well with some of the best sportsman competitors that the midwest has to offer. This will be a great event and there will be pro mod runs made all day, eliminations will start at 7pm and the event will end with fireworks at the close of the night.

This is a great way to celebrate during a killer motorsports weekend in Indy. Hopefully some Indy 500 fans will join the throngs of dedicated drag racing fans and have some fun at one of the coolest tracks in the country. If you love quarter mile pro modifieds, you gotta be there!
