More No Prep Nuttiness! This Radial Equipped Nova Spins A High Speed 360 and Only Hits Cones

We’re back with another crazy video from the no prep race at Kansas Speedway the other night. This time we see a pair of genuinely beautiful Novas lined up next to each other. Both cars have drag radial tires, both cars are desperately clawing for traction and one of these drivers is about to go on the ride of his life and thankfully completes it without so much as scratch on the paint. He immediately rolls the window down after the car comes to a stop and we can only imagine that he does so to release some of the poop smell out of the car because the driver had to have wrecked his BVDs when this was happening.

If there is one thing we have learned in watching hundreds (more?) of no prep videos is that after you have to get completely out of the throttle once, you better just leave it that way because the “down track pedal” is what causes most of the issues we have ever seen. This guy would have not provided an awesome video if he had left well enough alone with the skinny pedal but at the same time he would not have scared himself to death, either.

Like we said yesterday, we’re not against no prep racing (with a constant stream of videos like this how could we be?!). We just don’t want to see people wreck their stuff. This guy came really close. If the car had rotated the other direction his junk would have been mangled beyond recognition. This is a high speed 360 you gotta see!

Getting 5 seconds of internet fame means enough to these geeks to wreck beautiful cars? Why not get some Japanese junk that doesn’t matter? And the crowds that come to these so called “races” truly come just to see someone wad one up. This isn’t racing this is a festival of idiots.

Maybe get some lessons from Atlanta Motor speedway guys at Friday Night Drags. We have only crashed a T/D at the starting line and an AA/A in the pits in the last 2 years. They spray a little on the line sometimes. T/D and T/S regularly, well T/S anyway, right Robert?

That’s for sure. That car wasn’t right. Every time he accelerated it pulled hard to the left. Sometimes you have to be smart enough to give it up and go fix whatever is wrong.
