Morning Symphony: A Big-Block Malibu Suffering From A Condition Called “Swine Flew”

Morning Symphony: A Big-Block Malibu Suffering From A Condition Called “Swine Flew”

Racing isn’t going to happen around my neck of the woods anytime soon, it seems. Even my weather app on my phone is getting pretty specific about which body parts are going to freeze off if I step outside in anything less than four layers of the best cold-weather kit available, and we don’t even have snow yet. Until early March, beech Bend is going to be nice and quiet…and it’s going to be nice and boring at BangShift Mid-West. We will be spinning wrenches on cars and gearing up for the season to kick off, and what better way to keep the goal of that first early test-and-tune hit alive in mind than to watch some badass machine take a good rip at the Christmas tree before mowing down the quarter? This Malibu is a big-blocked machine that is built by someone we only know as “Swine”. Country folk, I tell you…nicknames that would make a Northeastener roll their eyes until they saw grey matter and mechanical prowess that would make them see blood red mist. This Chevy is freaking gone at the hit and doesn’t let up until the stripe on a small tire thanks to the power of the bottle!
