(By Tom Lohnes) – Don’t blink, because you could miss the new Mclaren 765LT.  When it was released back in April everyone was impressed with it and now with official performance numbers out? This thing rips like no other.

Packing 755 horsepower, 590 lb.-ft of torque, and a 7-speed DCT, the 765LT is a monster. Equipped with the Clubsport pack, this car is capable of 2.3 seconds to 60 and a 9.8 second quarter mile. In 9.8 seconds, you can’t do much. For reference, this car completes the quarter mile faster than The Mitsubishi Mirage, Ford EcoSport, and Hyundai Venue can hit 60.

What this McLaren has that those 3 cars don’t, however, is a massive price tag. Starting at $365,000, one could argue that it delivers performance that is worth that money, but it is still a lot. Even with all of its numbers, I really think you are paying for the rarity of this thing. With only 765 being produced for the world, there are still two up for grabs. A Spyder version with no roof is probably coming, which would make sense because both the 600LT and 675LT have had topless versions.

So, if you have fat pockets and a desire to get your faced ripped off when you floor it get one while you can because when they’re gone, they’re gone.
