For some reason, there are so many hot rodders, pro-touring enthusiasts, and street car owners who think that a Line Loc, or Roll Control, is something only drag racers need. Sure, they were developed to hold a drag race car still at the starting line so that you don’t roll through, or out of the beams. But everyone should have one. I think every hot rod needs one because it makes burnouts way more fun. I mean, WAY more fun. But there is more to it than just that.
A drag strip is supposed to be pretty much level. An autocross course is not. So having a line loc can also be a really effective way to be better at the starting line at your favorite autocross event too.
