Drag racers are always excited about new race tracks opening up, but those of us in America have it good in comparison to those folks in the UK who want to race. They have WAY less options than we do. Like none. Santa Pod is the only National Event style dedicated drag strip still in operation in the UK, and the rest are just a couple of part time venues from what we understand. So when another spot opens up for racers, even if it is only open part time, it is a very very big deal and we love it.
