I’ve been to my fair share of NASCAR events, but my favorite were always the Craftsman Truck Series. I used to go to Texas Motor Speedway to watch them and because their racing was at night you got to see so much fun stuff you didn’t see during the Cup Car day races. We’re talking about the sparks show of course, where the trucks touch the ground over some of the bumps and getting into some of the corners, but when the action gets gnarly it’s a lot more than that. In the famous words of Harry Hogg, “Rubbin’ son is racing.”, and nowhere is that more true in NASCAR that in the truck races. They bump and bang and rub and slide and have all kinds of fun and that makes them even more fun to watch.
