I love old school drag racing, so any time my local tracks put together a nostalgia drags event, I have to check it out. In this case, I could only stick around for one round of qualifying, so my action shots are pretty limited, but I wanted to show you what I captured while I was at the track.
The SNDR group put together this event at Brainerd Motorsports Park in Ringgold, Georgia. It’s an eighth-mile track with tons of cool history, so it makes a great setting for a nostalgia drag race. The event features gassers, Super Stock cars, as well as as front engine dragsters and altered roadsters. There was also a Nostalgia Pro Stock match race between two iconic cars of the ’80s and ’90s. Along with the nostalgia cars, BMP put on bracket race with Footbrake and Super Pro. Take a look at some of my favorites.
