You can go ahead and file this one under “pure awesomeness”. We got sent a link to the video featuring this car and when we watched it we just could not stop smiling. Why? This is the fantasy dream car of every hot rodding dad in 1969 and while Chrysler never built it, we sure think that they should have after watching this! The car has AC, radio delete, the four speed stick, and the kind of plastic fantastic interior that every station wagon made from 1965-1975 was equipped with. This is no hack, this is a full on creation of a finished car that looks like it rolled off the assembly line. Perhaps the best part may be the “backstory” plaque you will read in the video. We’re not giving an inch of that away.
A quick look under the hood shows more fun details and the snug fit of that big elephantine 426 hemi that makes this car rumble at idle and roar when pulling the vintage Shasta looking trailer in the video. Would it be possible be angry or annoyed pulling gears in this wood-grain equipped chariot?! We thinks not.
The huge entertainment factor here would be going to the drags and just having a blast snicking off elapsed times which would have people’s heads exploding. There are some “Hemi” call-outs on the air grabber hood but people would probably think you were kidding when they saw them.

Can you imagine towing a 24′ Airstream down the road with that? You’d be passing diesel duallies pulling tent trailers on the Ike Gauntlet. Aaaaand, you’d be on the Saudi Royal family’s Christmas card list.
I am a true and true Mopar man. If it came between this vehicle and any other Hemi powered vehicle. I’d have to take the wagon with the Elephant under the hood .And still in the crate.End of story.
