Outlaw Street Car Reunion V: The Start Of Saturday Morning

Outlaw Street Car Reunion V: The Start Of Saturday Morning

Saturday dawned, warmer than Friday, and every racer itching to get the job done. With Tyler Crossnoe’s decision to ax Sunday off of the schedule due to incoming weather, each run had to count and breakage had to be dealt with in short order, lest the team risk being left behind in the program. The 6.0 and 7.0 index cars continued their slugfest throughout the day while the Mid-West Pro Mod series cars came out and introduced themselves properly to the sizable crowd that had gathered in the stands and along the fences.

One of the treats that ticket holders got to witness was Pro Stock Bike. Take the monster literbikes from each manufacturer, extend the swingarm some, and add the power adder of your choice. It is a very strange sight looking at a trumpet that feeds into a turbocharger hanging low off the side of the bike and it’s even stranger hearing these things pop and bang like an old rally car before the green drops and two riders hang on for dear life while they blast down to the other end of the track, where they’ll be doing around 200 MPH!
