Wild Rides Video: The Ozark Raceway Park Shutdown Area Was Eating Cars Recently

Some days it just seems like the track has it out for the racers. We don’t mean the management of the track but the physical, actual track itself. Urban Hillbilly Action Videos was recently at Ozark Raceway Park for their Street Machine Shootout race and he captured lots of wild rides. This video is a compilation of five that really got his attention and it wasn’t JUST his attention. The drivers in these five clips were definitely faced with situations where their hands were full. Oddly, almost all of them come on the top end.

We’re not taking a shot at the place when we say that Ozark does not appear to be the longest track in the world and the cars are running hard there. You are going to see lots of guys struggling to get their stuff hauled down in an acceptable manner and a bunch of them get some face time with the walls at the top end.

Drag Racing is a tough sport and it is not just the go that gets people’s attention. The WOAH factor is almost or perhaps even more difficult than getting things moving from a standstill. This video is proof that fast, heavy cars on a short track require an incredible talent level to make actually work.

Buckle up kids! Sean Melton is taking us for a wild ride at Ozark Raceway Park.

Simple , the cars are growing in power and speed every year. So much that now 1/8 mile is the norm in most tracks , what`s next ? 1/16 mile racing ? We all love power but seriously …

Track was fine, there were reasons for each of the wrecks like the White Camaro his throttle hung open. Again, not a track issue, just coincidence…
