(Photos by Benoit Pigeon) – While the weekend of the 2016 PDRA Spring Nationals will be remembered for more somber reasons, we’re happy to show you some of the great cars that were competing at the event that were captured through the lens of Benoit Pigeon. One of the things that the PDRA has done and done well over the last few years is to highlight the personalities of their drivers through the MotorMania live streaming broadcasts of the events.

Between the top end interviews and new pit features you really get a sense of who you are looking at through the front windshield. That’s a cool thing and of course the cars have major league personality as well. Between the paint jobs, the attitude that surrounds them, and the names that many of them have, you’ve never seen anything like a PDRA event when the pits are full and it is door slammers everywhere.

So we’re not going to dwell on the sadness of the weekend, we’re going to highlight the positives and do what Ronnie Davis would have wanted and that’s to encourage you to visit the series in person when they are racing at a track near you. It is an experience you will not forget!
