Competition brings out the best in any situation. Nobody wants to be the loser. Nobody wants to make their way back to their friends and admit that they got their ass handed to them. Everybody wants to be the victor…and just like your coaches in school kept screaming at you, it all comes down to just how badly you want that win. You will push harder, go further, and risk more just to make sure that little light comes on when you cross the final beams. Or, at least, you’ll do like these two do and put on one hell of a show for the onlookers to talk about for the next week or two! The third-gen Camaro isn’t anything to play with by any measure, and that Ford truck is one nasty, nasty unit. And we’re guessing there might have been a little more than pride on the line when the green lights flashed for this race, because the Ford goes straight for the sky with not one ounce of caring for just how far up the nose is going, and the Camaro sacrifices something to the racing gods at the end of the run. Remember, if you want it bad enough, you’ll push through and make it happen…or, at least you’ll look like you gave it everything you had and just came up short instead of not trying at all!
