When you hear the words “three wheel motion”, it should make you think of a classic lowrider…Dayton 100-spokes, beautiful paint, driving with a wheel in the air. We’re pretty sure that the driver of this nine-second Mazda RX-3 wishes that was the case compared to the ride he recently took at the Just Car Insurance Sydney Jamboree. You know that old adage about rotaries not making torque? Forget it…this little coupe climbs the ring gear like a boss, going straight up hard enough to take three wheels off of the pavement! Unfortunately, that’s when the RX-3 darted right, heading for the wall. We don’t know if the driver was fully aware of that or if he was still concerned about a windshield full of nothing but sky, but by sheer luck the Mazda comes down just before meeting the wall. There’s no doubts that the struts were done, but we don’t know if that’s what popped the hood up and wrinkled the fender, but compared to what could have been, those are minor points. Don’t ask about the driver’s seat, however…you don’t want to know.
