Rocky Mountain Race Week 2017 Coverage Continues! Day 4: Pueblo

After running strong at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado, competitors running Rocky Mountain Race Week made the trek south to Pueblo Motorsports Park. The track sits at a lower elevation, which makes everybody happier, and for Chad and Daphne, it’s historically the track where Daphne’s 1966 Chevy wagon performs best. If you weren’t watching Chad’s live videos on BangShift’s Facebook page, then here’s a quick summary of the last half-hour of the night: Daphne put the big Chevy down the track to the tune of 12.06@112 MPH, and the rest of the night was a scramble to get some extra tuning and a couple more runs down to see if Ethyl (the wagon) could dip it’s toe into the elevens.

Unfortunately, after that run, the computer and the nitrous kits quit playing nicely together, but with more nitrous found, will they finally cross the line in Great Bend, Kansas? We hope so! Meanwhile, check out photos of the action shot by Cole Reynolds below by clicking on a photo:
