(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – So we attended another swap meet back in March. We salivated over all manner of stuff that we wanted, needed, and had no use for. At the end of the day we brought home a few car parts and I bought about two dozen old car magazines in my quest to restore my once massive collection.
Lots to look over in this first of two galleries from the meet. As always, I am drawn like a magnet to induction stuff and there was no shortage here. Saw a tire machine like I used before joining the military and again at the base auto hobby shops (miss those facilities). Saw some really cool Edelbrock headers that later I found out are a marine part. Found a disposable plate filled with ‘authentic patina’ for $5 that was super hard to pass up. We also spotted a bunch of old test equipment which is not something we normally see at these. ’36 Ford hood panels were sprawled out waiting for some rodder to put them to good use.
