By Jason Mazzotta – A legendary small tire race from the “Lights Out 3” race in Valdosta, Georgia 2012. In this pair we find a classic Mustang vs. Camaro, twin turbo vs screw blown matchup with Robert Oldman wheeling the Camaro and Mike Brown behind the wheel of the Mustang. There is so much excitement in this race you cannot see everything by watching it only once. The cars are being pushed to the limits and beyond in this side-by-side wheelstanding video.
The header flames from the Camaro on the starting line blowing signs off the walls, a couple of monster wheelstands to the 330 foot mark and then some, and then the Mustang losing it at the stripe, coming down off the wheelie and barely losing it just nosing the wall. This is a perfect of example of what has made small tire racing so popular over the last decade; the diversity in cars and power adders, the excitement from the announcer and crowd on the starting line, the wheelstands from the much needed weight transfer, and the wrecks from the cars being pushed to the edge on such a limited tire, and this video has it all in one.
The slow motion replays they are on this video clips are amazing and really show you how much was happening on the track a the same time. What a show!
