80% of New Year’s resolutions are worth little more than hot air by the beginning of February. What, did the cheap candy for Valentine’s Day cause you to bail on the diet? You were the one who looked at the scale and cried, you were the one who proudly posted, “New Year, New Me!” on Facebook, and you are the one who paid for the gym membership. You are the one, then, that needs to stick to that grand plan you had on making your ass shrink for 2019. Packing around too much weight is never a good thing…not on your body and not in your car. Remember the formula: 100 pounds = one tenth in the quarter. Remember that, learn it, love it. You don’t have to run a frame with an engine to put that to practice, either.

Uncle Tony is still hacking the weight out of Project Bottle Rocket, a Dodge Coronet sedan that will, for all intents and purposes, still appear to be a Dodge Coronet. There will still be hoop bumpers, there will still be everything you need…but the weight loss program is in full force and so far, Bottle Rocket has ditched 150-odd pounds off of it’s still quite hefty weight. Where has that weight come from? Well, the heater core as a whole came in at nearly thirty pounds on it’s own and will be sold to restoration freaks because it’s in perfect condition…and that money can buy speed parts.
