Street Car Takeover in Atlanta was a huge event and the racing action on pit lane of the Super Speedway was hot and heavy. We’ve been doing the same thing at LSFest Texas for the last few years, so I know what it takes to make that work right. And while the surface will take rubber over a weekend, this stuff is as raw as can be on day one so it takes a tune up to get down it fast. We made our way back to Street Car Takeover ATL, where they turn the Atlanta Motor Speedway return road into a no-prep track, and it’s one of the better bare-surfaces we see throughout the year. In this video, we cover all the rounds from the Street Car and Small Tire classes, with some heavy hitters that showed up, including the KC MAXX Firebird, the “Squat King” Foxbody, a wild 1st gen Camaro known as “Real Stupid,” and even a smaller “mini KC MAXX” lookalike named “Ghetto Bird”.
