This 10-second Suzuki Samurai Is The Fastest Tangerine We’ve Ever Seen

The Suzuki Samurai. It’s just a step above a Polaris RZR, a step below a Geo Tracker, the target of auto safety nazis for it’s penchant to roll over like an obedient dog, and normally not on the mind of a lot of gearheads. Normally you find Samurais running trails like a 7/8 scale Jeep, or maybe out playing in the dunes. But if you were to type in the words “fast suzuki samurai” into YouTube, you’re rewarded with this: dubbed “El Trauma”, this bright orange Sammy is a dragstrip wonder, running 10.20s at Maryland International Raceway against a Honda Civic that sounds fully capable of holding it’s own. Packing a snotty small-block Chevy under the Power Wheels-sized hood, the Sammy hooks and books with the front wheels hanging. All things considered, maybe it’s for the best that the little Suzuki stays on the dragstrip…we wouldn’t want anyone from Consumer Reports hanging around at the top end of the track, now, would we?

Anybody else see something fly off and land on the track at about the 1000ft mark or so
