This Actually Happened – Watch A Guy Ride On Top Of A Dragster For A Quarter Mile Pass!

Yes, you are about to watch a guy ride on top of a dragster for a full quarter mile pass with his ass perched the base of the scoop and his hands wrapped around the top of the dragster chassis in a grip that likely left dents in the chromoly tubing. This moment in drag racing history which we were tipped off to by Joe Castello AND Bret Kepner apparently happened on the island of Puerto Rico. We have no idea when as this video looks to have been made by videotaping a television that was playing the clip of the run where again, A MAN CLUNG TO THE TOP OF THE SPORTSMAN BIG BLOCK DRAGSTER AND STAYED THERE FOR A FULL QUARTER MILE PASS. In a stunning twist that shouldn’t actually be considered a twist at all, the guy driving the car was the brother of the man hanging on for dear life above him.

There have been lots of seemingly pointless drag racing stunts. Bullet Bob Bailey was a guy who used to get dragged behind cars down tracks wearing a suit with titanium blocks on it. He fell off the bottom of an airplane while attempting to be human landing gear and died (seriously). This seems like a topper even for that.
You may be thinking that this is not a big deal because riders on motorcycles are going way faster than this dragster and they are not getting blown off. That’s a valid idea until you realize that the motorcycle guys and girls have a MOTORCYCLE UNDER THEM. This guy was a massive human sail where he was at catching a ton of wind with his chest and torso but obviously it did not ruin his big moment…which he used to raise money for charity and that’s the heartwarming part of this. That and the fact he did not become a human kite. Winning!

    I think the guy riding atop the dragster was WAY closer to the driver than being his “brother”!

    Also the word “ass” crops up a lot in the Spanish commentary – wouldn’t it have been easier for the two lovebirds to get a room somewhere…

    Fun, I looked at again and noticed the passengers right leg, hanging down.
    This guy is really sitting on a motorcycle getting ready for a pass. Photoshop is fun, did I get suckered into believing it was real, yes I did. There are crazy people out there, I am sure people would pay good money to see something like this, but there would be lots of Utube videos of the event. It was fun.
