We featured this car almost 10 years ago after seeing it at the National Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, but it has been several years since I saw it last. Kellison drag cars are RARE and always interesting, but this one is WILD! Dr. Randall Zorn, an optometrist from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, had this Kellison built in the 1960’s. It has a custom dual rail round tube chassis, with a narrowed Olds rear end, DZ302 engine and clutch-turbo transmission. Although it looks like a funny car, this Kellison never ran nitro methane or a supercharger, so it often ran in the C/Altered class.
