This Holden Torana turned a lot of heads at the PRI Show in Indy last year, but not just because it’s an Australian car most folks don’t often see. I bet half of the folks didn’t realize it was even right hand drive at first glance. What makes it awesome is the fact that this car is small block powered. Yep, it’s got a traditional small block Chevrolet under the hood that is being force fed by a pair of turbos and we love it. This car is just too damn cool in every way.
In the video below you are going to see the team take it out to the track for the first time, without any data, any experience with this combo, and no tuneup. How bad can it be?
Watch.
Video Description:
Finally the time has come to take the twin turbo small block Chevy to the track and see what we have created. Other then one very slow lap around the block, its never been driven, never been on a dyno either. So we are going to battle getting a handle on a completely new setup including engine, turbos, transmission, convertor, the entire suspension and the whole chassis, while trying to license. This will be interesting!!!
