Tough Little Bugger: Watch This Tiny Engine Get Pummeled With Nitrous and Fuel and Live!

This is one of those neat videos that you don’t think has a snowball’s chance in hell of being interesting and then it turns out to be one of the neatest things you’ve seen in a while. When you take tiny engine and then force feed it the equivalent of a 100hp nitrous shot intended for a, you know, real car engine, there’s only one possible outcome, right? Wrong, apparently. The Warped Perception channel did this “test” just to kind of see what would happen and the end result is killer ultra-slow motion video, an engine that buzzes and screams like a banshee, and a viewing public that’s basically shocked were didn’t see a tiny (or not so tiny) explosion!

The nitrous system used her is great. Some of you have likely seen or heard of the famed “nitrous in a bag” that street racers have used to keep the systems hidden in their car. No, it is not a street racing legend, it is real and a Computer “nitrous in a bag” system is what’s used here. This is a dry setup normally but our hero runs a fuel line right below the nitrous orifice so when it is shooting nitrous out it’s also syphoning fuel as well. This mix is shot willy-nilly into the tiny carb of the miniature engine. Wait until you hear the difference in sound before and after the nitrous/fuel shot.

There’s not a lot of science here but there isn’t any destruction either. Do you agree with his hypothesis as to why the engine did not explode?
